The New York Post is continuing its acclaimed writing contest again this year, in partnership with Command Education, the nation’s leader in college admissions consulting.

High schoolers from around the New York area are invited to showcase their writing skills and journalistic instincts for the chance to have their article published in the New York Post and on nypost.com

All writers of published submissions will be invited to the New York Post for a special Scholars Masterclass. The top three honorees will also receive an immersive New York Post Discovery Day tailored to their interests, a college prep strategy session with our partner, Command Education, and a grant for their school!

“We want to continue to inspire a new generation of journalists,” said Keith Poole, editor-in-chief of the New York Post. “Last year’s contest gave me an eye-opening, informative and colorful window into the life of high schoolers with a collection of brilliant, brave – and sometimes controversial – articles.”

The New York Post will also be awarding grants to the top three schools who drive the most submissions!

“Command Education is proud to support the New York Post as we strive to spark curiosity and foster ingenuity in young scholars. Together, we are spotlighting students’ creativity to help them stand out and have their voices heard.”

Christopher Rim, Command Education founder & CEO
