With no sign outside, Intuisse Spa is Greenwich Village’s most exclusive beauty secret.
Hidden within Maison Hudson, the new high-end residential hotel at 401 West Street (which, as The Post previously reported, caters to the ultra-wealthy elite), this private pampering destination is known only by word-of-mouth.
While the wellness sanctuary was created as an amenity for the ultra-luxury waterfront property — which boasts 10 gorgeously appointed pied-à-terres with 24-hour concierge service and rates from $32,500 a month — it’s also open to the public.
And what a soothing space it is. Like the elegant residences, the spa is designed by starchitect Thomas Juul-Hansen and lined with hand-laid walnut. There are two treatment rooms; a Calacutta-marble-clad steam room, a jacuzzi and sauna; a state-of-the-art gym; and a tisanerie, serving revitalizing teas and herbal infusions.
The spa offers a variety of high-tech treatments combatting signs of aging, fatigue and jet lag. The signature 60- and 90-minute personalized facials (from $325), are performed using Intuisse longevity science products.
The Swiss brand’s anti-aging creams, lotions, masks and serums are formulated with active liposomal NAD+, an energy-boosting molecule that boosts the body’s natural supply and is said to promote cell renewal and increase collagen, elastin and laminin production. Add-on therapies like oxygenation and extended massage are available for a fee. The blissful 60-, 90- and 120-minute massages (from $300) are also customized for each guest.
Intuisse has partnered with the London-based NADclinic to offer “fountain of youth” NAD+ IV treatments (from $519), said to promote anti-aging and detoxification.
During the procedures, a medical practitioner carefully inserts and monitors the infusions, which range from the Vitamin Immune Booster and Signature Detox to a Fat Burner blend and can be supplemented with extras like vitamin B12, C or D ($69 each).
The client rests or sleeps on plush furniture during the drip, which lasts between 60 and 120 minutes and can cause slight discomfort.
The sleek facility also offers three Diagnostics, including the NADclinic BioGenetic 360 test, which analyzes 384 genetic variations and, based on the results, provides health and nutrition recommendations.
The spa might be discreet, but its benefits are appreciable.
