Convicted “Doomsday Mom” Lori Vallow Daybell appeared in a new mugshot after being extradited from Idaho to Arizona to face murder conspiracy charges involving her family members.

Vallow Daybell was brought to the woman’s Estrella Jail in Phoenix just after midnight Thursday and posed for a booking photo that showed her smirking and staring wild-eyed at the camera.

“Pursuing criminals and bringing them to justice is what we do, and we’re very good at it,” Maricopa County Sheriff Paul Penzone crowed in a statement addressing Vallow Daybell’s extradition linked to two indictments accusing her of plotting to kill her estranged husband and her niece’s ex-husband.

Vallow Daybell, dressed in an orange Maricopa County Jail jumpsuit, made her initial court appearance Thursday morning, which lasted just three minutes, reported East Idaho News.

Judge Tracy Nadzieja laid out the charges against Vallow Daybell and denied her bail pending her next hearing scheduled for Dec. 7.

Vallow Daybell spoke several times during the hearing, asking the judge if the two cases against her will be combined, or handled separately.

“They are two separate cases but they are going to be handled in the same hearing,” Nadzieja responded. “They are two separate cases so you would have two separate proceedings going forward as it goes to trial.”

Speaking softly and breaking into a smile several times, Vallow Daybell also inquired if one lawyer would be handling both cases against her.

“At this point in time, you’re likely going to have one lawyer represent you at this particular hearing,” the judge said.

Vallow Daybell, who previously claimed to be a goddess sent to usher the apocalypse, has been indicted on two charges of conspiracy to commit first-degree murder in Arizona.

One of the cases involved her fourth husband, Charles Vallow, who in July 2019 was shot and killed by her brother, Alex Cox, in a Phoenix suburb.

In Idaho, Vallow Daybell is serving a life sentence for the murders of her children, 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 16-year-old Tylee Ryan. AP

Cox claimed he acted in self-defense and was never charged in the man’s death.

Later that year, Brandon Boudreaux, who had recently divorced Vallow Daybell’s niece, reported being shot at outside his home in Gilbert, Arizona.

Police said Cox fired at Boudreaux but missed.

He was not charged in that case either and later died of natural causes.

Prosecutors in Arizona argued that Vallow Daybell conspired with her brother to kill both men.

In Idaho, Vallow Daybell is serving a life sentence after being convicted earlier this year of killing her two children, 7-year-old Joshua “JJ” Vallow and 16-year-old Tylee Ryan, whom she once described as “zombies” — and conspiring to kill her fifth husband Chad Daybell’s previous wife, Tammy Daybell.
